ULTRA S800 Safety & Security
A micro-composite 8-mil security film more tear-resistant than standard films — used for school hardening and smash-and-grab deterrence.
Scotchshield ULTRA S800 is manufactured from micro-composite interwoven layers of polyester (PET), giving it greater tear resistance than standard security films of similar thickness. At 8 mils, it holds shattered glass together on impact — deterring smash-and-grab crime, mitigating bomb-blast risk, and resisting storm debris. It meets most GSA and US Government fragment-retention specifications and is widely used for school hardening.
